SHE CRIED ALL NIGHT

Few days ago, my daughter asked for our permission to participate a two-night-camping organized by her school. I was like..........., NOPE! No can do...(silently). I just told her that I need to discuss about this matter with her daddy.

As we finish our dinner, I brought up the matter to my dear husband. He was like..., What? 2 days? Oh my! Then we just sit there without a word. I mean..., I this the first time we ever gonna let our girl going on a school camping. It's huge for us!

She's only eleven plus it's 2 nights! Both of us afraid that something bad will happen to her. We heard enough terrible news occurred involving school girl... and that 's scared us a hell. Plus, its raining these few nights. We were worried she might end up soaked!

So, we finaly say "NO" to her. She's begging for us to reconsider our refusal. I did explain to her why exactly we refuse to let her go. But she simply won't listen. All she cares is to go there and have fun with her friends. She started to cry.., and cry...., and cry all night long.

To be honest, we did feel guilty for making her sad. Then again, we are her parents! We love her so much and will do everything in our power to protect her. I know she's eager to explore the fun being outdoor with her friends. It just not the right time for her yet.

I couldn't stop my baby girl from growing up. Sooner or later another camping or programme will be held and maybe by that time we will be ready to let her taking part of it...... Well lets worry about that later!
