Synonyms atau same meaning words merupakan perkataan seerti atau perkataan yang mempunyai maksud yang sama dengan perkataan lain. Dalam kertas 1 Bahasa Inggeris soalan  no. 21 menguji keupayaan murid-murid membandingkan 4 pilihan jawapan dengan perkataan bergaris samada seerti (synonym) atau berlawanan (antonym).
