Emmm..., malam ni nak bincang pasal 2 topik yang hampir serupa tapi tak sama. Hahahah.. Mesti kelirukan. Tak kisahlah. Jom kita ungkai satu persatu.
POSSESSIVE ADJECTIVES
Possessive bermaksud KEPUNYAAN & adjectives pula bermaksud KATA SIFAT. Jadi, keseluruhannya ia bermaksud kata sifat yang menunjukkan kepunyaan. Pening? Takpe, pelan2.., ok tuh. Possessive adjectives terdiri daripada 7 kata sifat, iaitu:-
My - saya punya
This is my car.
Your - awak punya
This is your car.
Our - kita punya
This is our car.
Their - mereka punya
This is their car.
His - dia (lelaki) punya
This is his car.
Her - dia (perempuan) punya
This is her car.
Its - ia punya (haiwan, benda @ tumbuhan)
This is its car.
Possessive adjectives biasanya digunakan sebelum kata nama (noun).
My, your, our, their, his, her, its = possessive adjectives.
Car = noun.

Seperti possessive adjectives, possessive pronouns juga terdiri daripada 7 kata ganti diri iaitu:-
Mine - kepunyaan saya
This is my computer. It is mine. (Ini komputer saya. Ia kepunyaan saya)
Yours - kepunyaan awak
This is your computer. It is yours.
Ours - kepunyaan kita.
This is our computer. It is ours.
Theirs - kepunyaan mereka
This is their computer. It is theirs.
His - kepunyaannya (lelaki)
This is his computer. It is his.
Hers - kepunyaannya (perempuan)
This is her computer. It is hers.
Its - kepunyaannya (benda, haiwan atau tumbuhan)
This is its battery. It is its.
Possessive pronouns biasanya digunakan pada akhir sesuatu ayat. Ianya berupa penegasan untuk si empunya.
