COMPLEX MACHINE / MESIN KOMPLEKS
1. Some tools use more than one single machine to work. / Sesetengah alatan menggunakan lebih daripada satu mesin ringkas.
2. It is called a complex machine. / Ia disebut mesin kompleks.
3. The following are some examples of complex machine and their simple machine components. / Berikut adalah sebahagian contoh-contoh mesin kompleks dan mesin-mesin ringkas yang ada padanya.:-

a)Wheelbarrow / Kereta sorong
- Lever, wheel and axle / tuas, roda dan gandar

b) Bicycle / Basikal 

- Lever, gears, wheel & axle, / Tuas, gear, roda dan gandar

c) Egg beater./ pemukul telur

- Gear, wheel & axle. / Gear, roda & gandar.

d) Scissor / Gunting

- Lever & wedge / Tuas & baji

e) Crane / Kren

- Lever, pulley and gear / Tuas, takal dan gear

f) Hand drill / Gerudi tangan

APPRECIATING MACHINE / MENGHARGAI MESIN

1. We live in a world of machine / Kita hidup dalam dunia yang dipenuhi mesin.

2. They help do most of our work / Mereka membantu kita melakukan banyak kerja.

3. Machines make / Mesin membuatkan:-

a) work easier / kerja lebih mudah

b) move heavy things / menggerakkan benda-benda berat

c) travel from one place to another / bergerak dari satu tempat ke tempat yang lain

d) measuring time / mengetahui masa

e) life easier / memudahkan kehidupan kita.

4. Living without machine / Kehidupan tanpa machine:-

a) is like living in a prehistoric times / seperti hidup di zaman prasejarah

b) everything must be done with our bare hands / semua perkara mesti dilakukan dengan menggunakan tangan.

c) facing difficulty moving heavy things / berhadapan dengan kesukaran untuk menggerakkan barang-barang.

d) Not be able to travel very far / Tidak berupaya bergerak jauh

e) life would be much difficult without machine / Kehidupan menjadi lebih sukar tanpa mesin
